Postby Bloody_Fox » Tue Dec 28, 2021 6:30 pm

Hello, I would like some advice on how to learn hacking (need some straight up answers on what to learn).

programming languages I already know
Python basics;
C++ basics;
HTML basics;
some CSS.

I also have a basic understanding of stuff like ip, vpn, blockchain, etc.

OS I have worked with:
Mac OS (preferable OS);
Windows;
a bit of Linux.

This is just to give you hints where to start:

1- Networking basics at least.
2- Master Linux.
3- OWASP for webapp hacking.
4- CTFs.
5- Try malware analysis that will help to be good in windows internal, reverse engineering, exploit development and malware writing.
6- Do not do bugbounty that is time wasting and serving big companies for few for the most time. (if for fun why not)

You can either be a damn good hacker or a script kiddie.

To be a damn good hacker required a lot of patience, a lot of learning, a lot of trial and error, a lot of motivation and curiosity.

To be a script kiddie, all you need to do is to download and use hacking tools (created by damn good hackers)

Let me know the area you want to specialize in and I'll guide you through.

Some of the areas I specialise in are :

1. Mobile Pentesting
2. Wireless penetrating
3. Network penetrating
4. Firmware penetrating

There are a lot more areas, but you have to know which one you're interested in.
